Design and Installation

Dreaming up a edible food forest? Need help putting in your first time vegetable garden? I can help design and install any number of garden beds, greenhouse systems, chicken coops, composting systems. From native plant and formal garden spaces to herb and kitchen gardens I can help you create a functional space to meet your needs. I also have experience designing and installing patio spaces and retaining wall systems. I will do my very best to meet your garden needs.



Gardening Services 

I am a trained gardener and have been practicing organic gardening professionally for several years. I am effective in all phases of seasonal maintenance; turf management, weed abatement, integrated pest and disease management, seasonal clean-ups, bed maintenance. I have developed my own preparations for use in the garden; garlic oil insect repellent infusions, compost tea fertilizer, worm castings. I strive to meet the needs of the plantscape while being especially mindful of my impact on the land and ecosystem.


Consulting

I like to collaborate and co-create with other folks on their projects. And sometimes, we get stuck and need help. My consulting services are geared toward ecological design and sustainability. I hope to be able to offer effective decision making when it comes to food system project design, waste mitigation, community composting, urban forestry.

Also, I can work with the client who needs help starting their own veggie garden, developing a site management strategy, or a home composting program.

Consulting services operate on a sliding scale. I love to volunteer my time to help people that get stuck in their projects. But, sometimes a project needs more attention to detail.
